| Description: | The Regional Water Board has identified an area in Los Osos referred to as the 'Prohibition Zone' that is prohibitted from contributing further pollutants to the groundwater via underground septic tanks. The residents of the area must build a wastewater facility to replace the current septic systems. This project is being led by San Luis Obispo County.
The San Luis Bay Chapter is taking this opportunity to push for a project that is an environmental showcase and will adequately protect the nearshore waters of Morro Bay. |
