EPA Drowns Beach Program

Local Information for Santa Monica High School & the WLA/Malibu Chapter

Both Pacific Palisades and Santa Monica High School students participate in the WLA/Malibu Chapter's Teach and Test Program, collecting and processing water samples at a lab set up in one of their classrooms.

At Santa Monica High, the Heal the Bay Surfrider Club runs the water testing program.  Four members of their club, along with their teacher advisor, Ben Kay, gave a presentation at the Surfrider West Coast Summit, September 29, 2012, in Ventura, California.  Download their presentation here.
