Note: If the table below doesn't contain fecal bacteria numbers, you can get an approximate fecal bacteria reading by multiplying the E-Coli MPN number by 1.25.

A result reported as zero is actually less than the limit of detection, typically 10 MPN (Most Probable Number) per 100 ml of sample.

Disclaimer: These coastal water test results shown below have been conducted by volunteers. Though the volunteers receive training, they are usually not water testing professionals by trade.
