Massachusetts, Updated Bottle Bill
The Massachusetts Chapter has joined a large coalition of groups aiming to update the MA bottle deposit law to include non-carbonated beverages like water bottles. The current law has an excellent rate of recycling but it only covers beer and soda. A five cent deposit on more type of beverage bottles will mean cleaner oceans, waves, and beaches.
