RIPPLE: ART AFFECTING OCEANS
The Surfrider Foundation's DC Chapter is celebrating International Surfing Day with an art show fundraiser. It's a celebration of art and surfing, featuring the work of professional surf and skate artists like Jay Alders, Brian Tucci, Steve Mullen, Megan Kelley, Justin Parisi-Smith, as well as Surfrider members.

A gala event for members and friends of Surfrider and other environmental organizations, celebrating International Surfing Day. Complimentary wine, beer, and hors d'oeuvres, live music, silent auction of exciting travel packages and member-created art inspired by the oceans. Black tie and boardshorts (dressy with a beach flair).

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Don't be just a party guest!
Member Art: Got a creative flair? Even finger paints will do. Show us how the ocean and surfing inspire you. We're looking for a dozen or so members to put their own thoughts on canvas (or other media), to sell in our silent auction. As a grassroots organization, every member's views affect what we do--even our art show. Submission deadline is June 14. For more info, contact Mike Childs at mike@headspringsolutions.com.
