Surfrider volunteers hand out water at the 2006 Marathon.

Join DC Surfrider at the 2nd annual National Marathon on Saturday, March 29, 2008. We will be handing out clean water from 8:30am until approximately noon (we will wrap up after the last runner goes by). This is a great opportunity to meet members of the chapter, help out with a local event, and spread our clean water message. We will be posting signs with helpful clean water tips and facts leading into our water stop. This event helps bring awareness to thousands of runners out enjoying our beautiful city.
