Pick Up Your Poop!

Your pet's waste is your waste and your responsibility! This past weekend Central Coast Chapter volunteer and activist Joe Haxel helped install new dog poop bag dispensors and Surfrider signs at South Beach State Park and the South Beach Jetty access road. The new bags are part of a recent chapter partnership with Oregon State Park's Adopt-a-Park program and Surfrider Foundation - Central Oregon Coast Chapter. Purchasing, installing and maintaining the signage and dispensors is just one small part of this stewardship effort with South Beach State Park. Please help support the local chapter's effort to keep South Beach pristine, pick up after your pet, support the local chapter or contact haxsoul@charter.net to find out how to get more involved with Surfrider's local stewardship efforts.
