Stormdrain Design Contest
This is our second annual contest in celebration of Earth Day 2008. Last year's contest was a great success and we have the potential to make it an even bigger success this year.
Please download the flyer for the rules and more information. If you are able to drop a flyer at a local public or private school or post one up in public that would greatly help the campaign for the contest!
Every Connecticut School with a 6th through 8th grade is eligible to participate in the design contest. The contest is designed to inform and teach school children about the detrimental effects of non-point source pollution, encourage the arts, and help them educate people in their local communities as well. We also hope to build awareness of our local Connecticut Chapter to increase our membership base.
Connecticut Surfrider is still a very young chapter and we can use all the help from our continually growing membership to carry out programs as we grow. Thank you all for being part of the Connecticut Surfrider community!
