Location TBD.June 20, 2009: URGENT NOTICE: International Surfing Day celebrations at Sherwood Island State Park and after party at Splash in Westport are cancelled due to inclement weather. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we figured nobody wants to hang out at the beach during a thunder storm. July 2009: Beach Bash at Esker Point. The 2009 beach bash will feature a beach volleyball tournament, a beach clean-up and lots of live music. Contact Andrew or Jody with questions and suggestions.
July 25, 2009: Save the Sound, a program of Connecticut Fund for the Environment, invites you to help raising money for Long Island Sound restoration by participating in the 9th Annual Kayak for a Cause event. Paddle across the Sound! Raise money for charity! Enjoy a beach party with lobster bake and live music! For more information, check out the flyer. If you're interested in participating with a group of people, contact Andrew.
August 15, 2009: The Connecticut Chapter will set up a table at the Milford Oyster Festival again. Contact Bill with questions and suggestions.
August 25, 2009: Paddle across the Cape Cod Bay from Plymouth to Provincetown. If you are interested in participating, contact Andrew.
September 2009: Second annual Connecticut chapter camping and surfing trip. Contact Ines with questions and suggestions.
October 2009: Launch of the 2009 edition of the storm drain stencil design contest at Connecticut middle schools. Contact Tiffany with questions and suggestions.
