There are few things... ok, nothing, free and open regarding the New Jersey shore. The pay-to-play game regarding Jersey shore beach access is escalating and the public is the one that stands to lose... again.

Our coastlines are our open spaces, they are public spaces. Coastal access is a right. The California Coastal Commission agrees with this and recently ruled The Strand in Dana Point needed to take down their gates which are locking the public out of the beach.

People are surprised to find out that in some places you have to pay to walk onto a beach. They are further shocked to find out that in some places you can't even get to the beach (regardless of fee). If you value coastal access then join us and fight…
