720 areas connect this Saturday to ask Obama to restore offshore moratorium

I love this photo... it illustrates all types of coastal lovers coming together to send the singular message that our coasts aren't for sale and that they will stand up for coastal protection.

Hands Across the Sand started a few months ago in Florida. This Saturday 720+ areas will be sending that same message with an even more specific request to President Obama, restore the federal offshore moratorium for net new offshore drilling. More here.

(If that link doesn't work, be patient. Jack Johnson just mentioned it on his Facebook page and the site crashed... a site crash due to spiked interest is a good problem to have... but it's still a problem).
