Activism across the globe

I remember the first time I saw a major brand in a language that made me wonder... it was the Coke logo in Hebrew.

That image had an impact on me because it made me understand the flattening of the world.

I'm not going to argue that a flat world is a good or a bad thing... I'll leave that to others.

I'm going to argue that the world is in radical need of help, and we need to employ every tool, practice and onramp to address those needs.

One of the core structural elements of Surfrider Foundation is grassroots activism. The first thing we did, almost twenty five years ago, was band together and preserve First Point in Malibu. Decades later, we're doing this all over the globe.

Check this map out. No matter where you are in the world. We either have or would like to have grassroots representation to address issues facing our coasts. This map, like the documents above in French and English, are simple illustrations of who we are, where we are, and the fact that we speak your language.
