Capturing the essense

In fact it's intrigued me my whole life.
In an odd way, it's become more difficult as digital cameras have permeated culture. I think it's the combination of the flat focal length (everything is in focus, etc), the "perfect" color and the proliferation of posted images. More and more I find myself drawn to my sketch pad or my Holga rather than the modern equivalents.
It's in that spirit that I celebrate artists like Joni Sternbach. Her photos are below and check out her site here.
