SIGG turns 100, so… we’ve had alternatives to plastic water bottles for a century

A century ago a nice, convenient bottle for carrying water was invented. It's called the SIGG bottle. The last thing this blog is intended for is product promotion but on their year anniversary it seems like the idea is still crisp, still relevant... especially with the tsunami of those atrocious single-use plastic water bottles.

I've used these bottles for a year or so, with the exception of denting... they rock, I love 'em. Some of our chapters are selling them to the public, Patagonia sells them and Jack Johnson's upcoming tour is going to sell them. This isn't rocket science, there is a very simple message here.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.

Happy Birthday SIGG.
