Thomas Campbell and (the) Pipeline [25th Anniversary Gala, Oct9th]

I've written about Thomas Campbell on this blog before. In some ways Thomas represents ground zero of the renaissance of the art/surf intersection. Of course Thomas isn't singly tied to waves as he has (and will) take on many subjects outside of wave-related things.

I just dig the simple joy in his works. They make me smile.

Thus I was stoked when I heard from Scott at The Surfer's Journal that he'd agreed to do a work for the auction... and was intrigued when he was matched up with The Pipeline. I'll stop blabbering, check out this vid where we offer one of the first peeks at his take on Pipe.
