“Water rage”... a postmillenium reality?

Southern California has lots of cars, lots of people... lots of traffic. So it's no surprise that road rage is associated with Southern California.

Now... it's late 2007.

Australia has had horrible droughts. Thus an opening line "Australia has suffered its first death by 'water rage' as the country confronts its seventh year of crippling drought" may seem almost... expected.

The lack of a natural resource will drive a whole new set of issues, hopefully few-to-none of which will involve violence.

This issue is not unique to Australia. Water is a fleeting resource all over the world; Europe, Israel, US, etc.

Welcome to the new world.

Now go plant an ocean friendly garden.
