Why is the environment not part of the US presidential race?

Surfrider Foundation is a non-partisan organization, we represent all sides, all ages, all parties, etc. Oceans, waves and beaches are all of ours to enjoy and protect for generations to come.

It's interesting to see how much time environmental issues are getting in the current race in the United States. The data suggests that 2,938 questions have been asked in the US race, 4 mentioned global warming.
