Winter paddle out

The relativity of our mutual situations is always good to keep in mind.

The water in San Diego dropped to the high 50s a few weeks back and I broke out the booties. As I look at the photos below, sent to me from Chico up in Canada, I feel like something with lower status than a wimp.

Beyond that... look at these photos. How utterly gorgeous is this area and this set up? Blanketed by snow, dogs frolicking and a solo paddle out to empty waves.

As I look at these I feel like Drew Kampion should be whispering a Robert Frost poem in my ear.

Cheers to the Canada crew.

May your sessions stay starkly beautiful, noticeably uncrowded and the epitome of "core."
