By making a Surfrider Memorial Donation for ocean enthusiasts who have passed away, family and friends can honor those who loved the ocean in their lifetime. With the creation of a Surfrider Memorial Donation, the family who suffered a loss becomes a lifetime member of Surfrider Foundation. General memorial donations are designated to the Tom Pratte Memorial Scholarship Fund. This Fund was established to provide annual scholarships (as many as the Fund will allow) to qualified undergraduate and graduate environmental studies students and to provide grants for the establishment of educational programs and materials within Surfrider Foundation's mission.
