Approved Safety and Beach Tips
 by U.S. Lifesaving Association

  1. Learn to swim.

  2. Check with a Lifeguard before entering the water.

  3. Always swim or surf near a lifeguard.

  4. Always swim or surf with a buddy.

  5. Always wear swim fins

  6. Don't overestimate your swimming ability or rely on your board to keep you afloat.

  7. Protect yourself and others by wearing a surf leash.

  8. Break your fall with your hands, not your head.

  9. Remember, always use sunscreen.

  10. Please help keep your beach and ocean clean.
