 Programs - Beach Clean Ups
We've been cleaning the beaches at Rockaway since 2000! We've had GREAT success and want to continue in our ability to create some positive change while enjoying sunny days on New York City's only surfable beach. But we need your help.

Oct. 4th, 2008: Beach 67th Street Cleanup
We had a successful fall beach clean up at Beach 67th Street in
Rockaway Beach, Queens on Saturday October 4th. Twenty-seven
volunteers collected garbage and recorded their findings to be
published by the New York City Littoral Society and The Ocean
Conservancy. This valuable data will then be used to help pass
important legislation in support of protecting our coast. Click here
