Marvin has been a member of the Surfrider Foundation since 1993.
He is a an avid surfer and an environmental chemist. Marvin has
worked with water quality issues for over 15 years.

Scott has been an active member of the Oahu Chapter for over 10
years. He works towards a Hawaii where the beaches and ocean are
clean and accessible, and you can get into the water anywhere, anytime,
without any thought of getting sick. |

H. Coleman, Vice-Chair
Head of Outreach Committee
Stuart, a member for about 8 years, started surfing as
a grom in Charleston, SC, and gradually moved Westward in search
of bigger and better surf, in California and later Hawaii. He is
the author of "Eddie Would Go" and is working on a new
book called "Makaha Means Fierce: The Story of Hawaii's Wild
Westside." |

on the North Shore. He believes strongly in Surfrider's mission to

Doug has been an active member with the Oahu Chapter from its start
in 1996 and has been involved with Surfrider since 1991. He is a former
chair and vice chair. Doug's pet peaves are closed beaches due to
water quality issues and irresponsible coastal development. |

Matt is a marine scientist and a graduate student at the University
of Hawai‘i. In addition to being an avid surfer, he supports
Surfrider's efforts to protect public beach access and clean water. |

Michael
Gray, Membership Coordinator Intern
Mike attends the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa where
he studies oceanography in the Global Environmental Sciences program.
He loves all board sports, hiking, and jumping off of really, really
high spots into water. Michael (and Dee) will increase chapter and
national membership and develop active volunteers. |
