Surfrider Foundation's "Retail Membership Program" is a special program for retailers and businesses. See below for more information on how to join the program.

Surfrider Foundation's "Retail Membership Program" is a special program for retailers and businesses. Surfrider Foundation members show their membership card to receive a discount, promotion, or giveaway determined by you. This could be a percentage discount on merchandise or services, a promotional T-shirt or sticker, a free drink with purchase, or whatever you decide is appropriate for your business. Our goal for the Retail Membership Program is to give our individual Surfrider Foundation members something extra for their support while increasing your sales and customer loyalty. This will simultaneously help boost your business while gaining awareness and support for the mission of the Surfrider Foundation. The annual membership dues for this program are $100. With your membership, the Surfrider Foundation will list your business on the Surfrider Retail Members page as a participating member. The Surfrider web site receives over 12,000 visitors daily. Your business will also be listed as a Retail Member in our award-winning newsletter magazine MAKING WAVES, which goes out to all of our over 50,000 U.S. members six times per year. The program is a reciprocal win! To join The Surfrider Foundation as a Retail Member just go to www.surfrider.org <http://www.surfrider.org>. Click on Join/Renew on the top right, once at that page you will see the link for the Retail Membership on the left pane. You will need to provide the following information: 1. A short description of your business. 2. The type of discount(s) or promotions to card carrying members of the Surfrider Foundation (ideas are below in the description from Surfrider). 3. Your web site address. 4. Your FULL contact information for your business for the Surfrider promotional page. 5. Credit card and billing information. 6. Make sure and choose "Ocean City MD" from the drop down menu to tell Surfrider it was our chapter that encouraged you to sign up.
