Welcome
The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of our world's oceans, waves and beaches. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 50,000 members and 63 chapters across the United States and Puerto Rico, with international affiliates in Australia, Europe, Japan and Brazil.

For the latest news check out our chapter news blog, The Olympic Peninsula Chapter (OPC) meets at 6:30pm on the first Wednesday of each month at the Port Angeles Library. We are involved in several projects including the Elwha River Restoration Projectthe, Blue Water Taskforce and the Elwha Sanican. We also support and participate in annual events such as Surfing and Traditions at La Push.
