Drew Kampion is a surfer, writer, editor, photographer, and longtime Surfrider Foundation supporter. In addition to editing the magazines Surfer (1968-72), Surfing (1973-82), and The Surfer's Path (2003-PRESENT), Kampion has authored The Book of Waves, Stoked! A History of Surf Culture, and The Way of the Surfer. he also edited and co-authored the Stormrider Guide North America. A book of his fictional surf stories, The Lost Coast, has just been published.

Kampion will present a selection of his photos of surfers and surfing in the late1960s and '70s, bringing them to life with personal anecdotes. He'll have a limited number of his books available for purchase and signing following the event, including rare 1st-edition copies of Stoked!

Featuring Wayne Lynch, Derek Hynd, Joel Fitzgerald, Micki Dora, Mark Occhilupo, Tom Curren, Darrl 'Boogs' VanDePolder, and Dream. Filmed in Australia, South Africa, Ireland, California, and Hawaii. Nominated in five categories at the 1998 Surfer Video Awards, including Best Video.
