Isn't Surfrider Foundation funded by the Pew Foundation, funded by Big Oil money to devert environment action away from the oil companies practices? You focus on many non-threats instead of real ones. State your sources of funding, publicly.
 

No Surfrider is not funded by Pew and never has been funded by Pew. Our financial records are posted publicly at http://www.surfrider.org/whoweare9.asp and always have been. If you wish to learn more about our issues feel free to contact me at cplybon@surfrider.org. Our issues are identified by our members and coastal activists, not staff. This means people like you. If you see surfrider issues as "non-threats", you should engage in a chapter and make your voice heard otherwise...unless you care to remain "anonymous".
