Digital music pioneer Rob Wells is Chief Commercial Officer and CEO Americas at Crowdmix, the new social media platform that’s connecting the world through music.
Formerly the visionary worldwide Head of Digital at Universal Music Group, Wells took a leading role in steering the world’s biggest music company through the digital revolution. He brokered major licensing agreements taking the company through the arrival of downloads to the streaming era, including key deals with the iTunes Music Store, YouTube, Spotify, Vevo, Apple Music and more. At Universal, Wells also generated new revenue streams by creating an innovative brand partnership division, ultimately worth $100m+ to the company.
