Matt has worked in coastal management for more than fifteen years with organizations such as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and New York’s Department of Environmental Conservation. He holds a Masters in Coastal Environmental Management from Duke University. Matt enjoys (attempting to) surf, scuba diving, ice hockey, travel, and biking in New York City. Matt's favorite part of working for Surfrider is meeting and working with our amazing volunteers and staff!
