This weekend's First Saturdays Cleanup was moved to Pacific City for the Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic. The chapter joined up with Newport chapter on Sunday, which had tabled the event throughout the weekend, for a beach and contest cleanup. The event drew hundreds of specatators and contestants from throughout the Pacific Northwest. Surfrider chapters were able to sign up new members, highlight local water quality issues and campaigns and soak up a little sun and waves along the way. Thanks to all for participating!
