Project Description
During 2012 school year, Aliso Niguel HS Surfrider Club has been working on awareness, education and signature gathering to prompt the Aliso Viejo City Council to consider bag and EPS ban legislation. They have worked with Surfrider South OC and other local organizations and individuals to host "BagIt" screenings and public awareness outreach with Surfrider RAP materials. This year, they will continue to try and get the legislation agendized.
Concrete Goals
Collect enough signatures to have City consider ban and create overall awareness.
