"THE FUTURE OF THE GAVIOTA COAST"
Film Screening

DATE: Wednesday, February 11th
WHERE: Santa Barbara Public Library's Faulkner Gallery, 40 E. Anapamu St.
WHAT TIME: 7 to 9pm

Join us for the viewing of an important documentary film about the unique qualities of the coastline stretching from Coal Oil Point, in Goleta, to Point Arguello, in Vandenberg Airforce Base, and the challenges that face its future.

This 20-minute film, produced by Shaw Leonard and Marc Mirabel of Global NGO Media, will be shown in both Los Olivos and Santa Barbara, free of charge. Mike Lunsford, an experienced State Park Ranger and President of the Gaviota Coast Conservancy and Phil McKenna, President of the Naples Coalition, will be present to explain why the ecosystem of the Gaviota Coast is so unique and to answer questions. "The Future of the Gaviota Coast" was recently introduced at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
