A
group of environmental groups has united against the construction
of the FTC-South toll road. The loose coalition includes the Friends
of the Foothills, Trout Unlimited, Laguna Greenbelt, Inc., National
Audubon Society, Natural Resources Defense Council, Endangered
Habitats League, San Diego Audubon Society, Sierra Club, Surfrider
Foundation, Green Party and others. Within our respective
organizations, each one of us is a concerned citizen, probably
similar to yourself, who wishes to preserve our most valuable
natural resource assets for future generations.
At the non-profit Surfrider Foundation, both the National Office and the South Orange County Chapter are
actively involved in the fight to stop the proposed FTC-South toll road.
