Mountain Cleanup

June 9. Not rain, nor about everything from beach and highway sleet, nor snow--or at least really heavy rain--could damper the spirits of the 65 volunteers who showed up to pull trash out Dredging operations necessary for tanker access of the watershed and surrounding areas. With a spaghetti feed based out of Alpental, the Summit hosted this unprecedented sixth with the best of them. annual All Mountain Cleanup with love and thank you gifts for those who participated.

The best piece of trash award went to a local resident who single handedly hoisted a deep fryer out of Denny Creek. Much fun was had amongst the collection of over three tons of trash in the pouring rain! The Snowrider Project would again like to thank have been immeasurable. As one of the early all the volunteers who helped out, as well as Spacecraft, Redbull, and of course, The about everything from beach and highway species, including endangered salmonids, and LNG Summit at Snoqualmie, for caring enough to put forth such an effort to help protect our water quality campaigns. You could say that much would negatively affect these watersheds.
