Surfrider Foundation - Sebastian Inlet Chapter is hosting a HUGE party on Saturday, June 21 to celebrate the start of summer and bring attention to our mission to protect and enjoy the world's oceans, waves, and beaches Ð and you're invited!
Come out to Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach on June 21 at 9am for a beach clean-up, paddle out, surf clinic by Nex Generation Surfing School, and ocean safety presentation. All morning events are free and all ages are welcome.
Surfrider is also proud to host the Central Florida premier that night of Teton Gravity Research's surf film OUT THERE at the Surfside Playhouse in Cocoa Beach. Created in partnership with Surfrider, OUT THERE showcases today's most progressive surfing, while considering humankind's impact on the world's oceans, beaches, and waves. All proceeds from the Central Florida premiere of OUT THERE benefit our local Surfrider efforts to protect coastal environments. The Sebastian Inlet Chapter is one of ONLY 12 chapters nationwide chosen to host the premiere!
Doors open at 6:30pm for a pre-movie fashion show, tons of giveaways, and a live performance by Elephant Gun, featuring David Pastorius. The film will begin at approximately 8pm.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children (15 and under) and can be purchased in advance at Cocoa Beach Surf & Skate (260 N Orlando Ave, Cocoa Beach), and Space Coast Credit Union's Cocoa Beach (1205 Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach) and Indian Harbour Beach ( 2100 Highway A1A, Indian Harbour Beach) branches.
