9/24 - The EEL Program will be having a beach clean up at Bonsteel Park in the South Beach Region on National Public Lands Day, at 9:00 am. The county land preservation group will have an optional guided hike of the Barrier Island Trail afterwards.
For any of these events, just contact me at Surfrider@cfl.rr.com or Brian Lind (surfman@sunnyfla.us or 749-8557) if you wish to help us.
We also need a count of how many members want to go camping on November 5th at Longpoint Campground. Who’s coming?
I hope that our spirit spurs the public to call for action to preserve our oceans and beaches. Be a part of it, and bring family and friends!
