Next meeting for the Sebastian Inlet Chapter is this Thursday at the south side of the Sebastian Inlet, October 13th at 7:30 p.m. We meet at the Fisherman's Museum, adjacent to the entrance gate office. (Look for the Surfrider banner) At this meeting will be the vote for the new Executive Committee, and planning the Winter Party as well.

You need to reserve a site now by calling 321-952-4532. It's $50.16 for one site (2 vehicles) for the two night minimum (Friday and Saturday evening works best) We've reserved site #4, and sites 5 through 10 should be open. We'll meet up Saturday at the Sebastian Inlet to give out info at the King of the Peak contest, then head to the campsite around 4 p.m. We have a couple of surf movies on DVD, some guitars, and lots of surf stories to share. Beach cleanup with Freedom 7 Elementary on Tuesday, November 15th, at 4 p.m.. We'll meet at the beachside parking at the end of South 4th Street in Cocoa Beach. Lots of prizes to giveaway to volunteers - young and old.
Winter Groms to Grandmasters Surf Party at Dakine Diegos in Satellite Beach - Saturday, December 10th, 7 p.m. til ?? See some classic surf movies and find out who wins the Tom Neilson Shapes Magic Surfboard!! There will be lots of other prizes given away and to be raffled. This party is for all Surfrider members and those interested in signing up.
It's not to early to start planning to take time off in January to help us run the Surfrider booth at the Globe Sebastian Inlet Pro - January 4th through 12th. We need volunteers to run the booth, getting beachgoers to sign up and giving away educational materials that help empower people to protect their beach.
