International Surfing Day: A Big Hit!

We'd like to thank you for making International Surfing Day the largest and most successful event we've ever had! With an estimated attendance of 300-400, we reached our goals of:

• Raising awareness of the condition of our oceans, waves & beaches
• Cleaning a large stretch of Ocean City's Northern beaches
• Having fun

The event included live music by The Silence, free food, a surfboard giveaway featuring Mayor Knight and a beach cleanup that awarded prizes for the smelliest, the most unusual and the largest quantity of trash picked up. To round out the evening, everyone enjoyed some great weather and a sunset surf session.
