Surfrider Benefit @ Bubba Mac's a Big Hit

Surfrider Night at Bubba Mac's on August 12 was a big hit with members and guests alike. Four bands, including The Silence, kept the crowd of 150+ groovin' while chapter head Steve Mullen and Vice Chairman Jim Nilsen peppered the throng of attendees with free stuff all night. We were able to raise $1,400 which will all go directly to supporting the operation of the chapter.

Many thanks to all who came out to support the chapter. This includes: attendees, the local surf shops and businesses that provided the give-away items and the event volunteers themselves. A special shout goes out to Jay Winkler whose retro poster design was a big hit.
