Southside Beach Bash a Big Hit at the Princeton in Avalon
The first annual South Side Beach Bash was a big hit at the Princeton in Avalon on August 23rd. The bar was packed with both locals and tourists who came to support a good cause and take advantage of the $2 Coronas. While The Silence serenaded the thirsty crowd, Chapter Chairman Steve Mullen raffled prizes donated by area surf shops such as Wild Ocean, Ocean Outfitters, Heritage, Surfers Supplies, etc... The prize orgy peaked when the second of three custom-shaped Steve Ford surfboards was given away to an area mom who was totally stoked to have won the prize for her twelve year old son.
