DID YOU KNOW: Polluted runoff causes high and unsafe bacteria levels at the beach during rain events.  The County may not test or post warning signs at beaches during these periods.  For your health and safety, stay out of the water for 3 days after the rain stops.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO TEST THIS SUMMER?  The Laguna Beach Surfrider Chapter is sponsoring a community testing program, which will begin on June 24.  Testing will be conducted every Thursday at 6:30 pm in South Laguna.  For more information contact Margaux or Marshall Thomas at (949) 415-0417.  If you would like to help fund the water-testing programs, please email Rick Wilson at rwilson@surfrider.org  Donations are applied directly by the Laguna Beach Surfrider Chapter to fund the Surfrider Club at Laguna Beach High School.
