We as a communty with lots of help and careful planning recently made a huge improvement to the largest beach access and parking lot in Tamarindo. We planted 6 new 10ft Almendro trees, built all new Teak fences along the beach, brought in backhoes and shovels to flatten out the area and raked up 10 ft piles of trash and other debris. We also had new trash cans donated by the community and painted them with some very posh designs(and of course covered them with Surfrider stickers) and had new beach access signs made as well as an emergency ambulance access! Thanks to all of you who were involved and woke up so early to come and help us..this is a true Surfrider Tamarindo victory!
