The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our
world's oceans, waves and beaches. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the
Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 50,000 members and 80 chapters worldwide. The Florida Treasure Coast
Chapter was founded in 2005 in response to critical environmental issues effecting Martin and St. Lucie Counties.
The TC Chapter now has over 200 active members and over 1,000 supporting individuals and businesses.

Surfrider Holiday Party & Toy Drive. Tuesday, December 16th
Don't miss the 3rd Annual Surfrider Holiday Party and Hibiscus Toy Drive Tuesday night December 16th at Jensen Ale House from 7-10 p.m. The public is asked to bring an unwrapped toy or clothing item for a youngster age 1 - 16 years (or a $10 donation). Enjoy a FREE Buffet courtesy of Jensen Ale House, LIVE Music from Bryan Bobo, tons of raffle prizes! All gifts and proceeds will go toward fulfilling the holiday wish lists of kids at the Hibiscus Children's Center, the Treasure Coast's only shelter providing a safe and nurturing for abused and neglected children.
