Huntington Beach Local Info

The Huntington Beach Chapter's Blue Water Task Force is run in collaboration with the Pesagus School. For this program, community volunteers collect samples at a number of local beaches, and deliver them to the lab located at the Pegasus School for the students to process the water tests and input results into the Blue Water Task Force database.

Help Spread the News: We are constantly looking for new ways to communicate the valuable information we gain to the public so that they can benefit from the information and stay safe. We also strive to communicate our data to politicians, agencies, and localities in the hopes that our data will lead to responsible policy decisions and ultimately, to clean waterways and beaches everywhere. Volunteers are needed to help analyze and publish the results of the water quality monitoring, and of their own experiences. For more information about how you can get involved with the Huntington Beach's Blue Water Task Force Program, contact Manuel at
