Hawaiʻi Green Fee
Visitor Fee to Support Conservation and Sustainability of Hawaiiʻs Natural Resources
The Hawaii Green Fee effort aims to establish a visitor fee, with the money going to sustainability and conservation for our islands. Prior to the pandemic, Hawaii had 10 million visitors come to our shores every year. A $50 per visitor fee would raise hundreds of millions of dollars for our State, and it would create thousands of impactful jobs that benefit our environment and community. The goal is to pass legislation at the State level that would establish this fee and fund.
