“Why should beachgoers and other recreational users get involved with ocean planning?” This was the question posed by filmmaker Chris Hannant as he traveled the coast from Virginia to Maine over a ten day trip this spring. The film combines beautiful scenery from places like Assateague Island and Acadia National Park with interviews of Surfrider members, coastal stakeholders, and government leaders.
