January 23, 2024 is Florida Healthy Beaches Day at our State Capitol in Tallahassee! We are proud to have a representative from our Surfrider Miami chapter attending to advocate for our ocean, waves and beaches with our elected officials!
By combining forces with other Surfrider Florida chapters, we will continue to grow our presence with the legislature to influence real change throughout the state.

On February 28-29, Surfrider Foundation will host the 8th Annual Coastal Recreation Hill Day! Hundreds of Surfrider activists from chapters and student clubs across the country will virtually meet with our elected representatives in Congress to carry forward your demand for clean water and healthy beaches for all.
Our goal is to elevate the voice of the coastal recreation community and inspire stronger federal leadership on these critical issues.

We are looking for a Rise Above Plastics (RAP) Lead to help us raise awareness about the dangers of plastic pollution, by advocating for a reduction of single-use plastics and the recycling of all plastics and work alongside other RAP volunteers to eliminate the impacts of plastics in the marine environment.
