Surfrider Miami is Seeking Local Volunteers to Support BWTF
Miami BWTF collects water samples each THURSDAY, at 24 locations across the area, from Sunny Isles to Bill Baggs State Park. BWTF results are intended to supplement testing conducted by the Florida Dept of Health’s Florida Healthy Beaches Program.
Volunteers are needed to:
  • Collect water samples at any testing site you choose, any time of day before 2 pm
  • Delivery drivers to transfer samples from drop off locations to our BWTF lab in Miami Beach
  • Lab “technicians” to process samples each Thursday afternoon. We can teach you!
  • Lab Doctor to determine test results each Friday afternoon, and enter data online
