The EPA vessel OSV Bold was performing sidescan transects offshore Newport, OR last night. They obtained the last known position of the Finavera wave energy buoy, just north of our planned survey, and added a short transect to try to locate it. They were successful. The attached sonar target record contains the buoy’s sidescan image. The exact location and dimensions were also collected.
