The Blue Frontier Campaign has just announced the 4th Annual Peter Benchley Award winners, who will be recognized at this year's Blue Vision Summit (May 20-23 in Washington, D.C.). Standing there at the podium alongside the President of Costa Rica, the Director of Stanford University’s Hopkins Marine Lab and Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen will be 18-year-old Rudy Sanchez, who co-founded and now leads the ‘Rise Above Plastics’ program at his Los Angeles area high school! Rudy has been a RAP advocate for the past few years and part of the Plastics Are Forever summit youth presentation. Congrats Rudy!
