Ally joined Surfrider as Beach Cleanup Coordinator for the Ventura County Surfrider Chapter in 2023. Growing up in Southern California, she has seen a plethora of environmental issues impact her local community, including sea level rise, severe drought, and extreme pollution. This spurred her decision to obtain a B.S. in Environmental Science and Resource Management from CSU Channel Islands. While studying, she volunteered as the CSUCI Surfrider Student Club President.

As a longtime surfer, Ally believes that it is her responsibility to help keep our beaches clean, healthy, and equitable. Serving as Beach Cleanup Coordinator provides her with an invaluable opportunity to do just that. In her free time, Ally enjoys surfing, climbing, or hiking in Ventura County.
